In an effort to encourage ethical and responsible advertising, PAS Standing Committee on the Code of Advertising Practice (CoAP) has Standardized the Practice of Disclaimer Usage in TV, Print and Outdoor Advertising.

The CoAP Standing Committee firmly believes that these practices of self-regulation shall be seen in the spirit of creating marketing/advertising communications that are welcomed and trusted, discourage unfair and anti-competitive practices and protects consumers’ interest that will ensure integrity and help raise public trust in advertising.

Implementation date: 1st July 2014.
